Save The Richmond Arms – my local pub

The Richmond Arms Public House – 7 Richmond Place, Lansdown, Bath BA1 5PZ, has had a planning application recently placed to change the building from a public house to a residential dwelling – see below.

Planning Application Reference: 13/01282/FUL
“Change of use of the Richmond from a Public House (Use Class A4) to a single residential dwelling (Use Class C3), including demolition of rear single storey extension to form rear garden area. Demolition and re-instatement of boundary wall to provide two parking spaces”

This will mean only one thing – the pub will close, and it, along with its hundreds of years of history, will be wiped away. We cannot allow this to happen.

Please help us locals to stand up against this and to oppose the planning application.
We must do this by 23rd May – so time is running out!
